New Orleans Wednesday weather: Mostly sunny with slight chance of rain

A 20 percent chance of light rain before 11 a.m. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 60. South southwest wind 3 to 6 miles per hour.

An inch or more of rain is possible over parts of southwest, central and northeast Wisconsin, with lower amounts forecast elsewhere.

According to the weather service, some thunder is likely in the northern half of the area Thursday morning. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.

Clouds will return into Thursday night, with a rain and possible a thunderstorm possible after 2 a.m. South southwest wind 5 to 7 miles per hour becoming calm.
