Apple iOS 11 Announced With Enhancements of Siri, UI, Music

Apple Maps will get lane guidance for highways and floor plans for indoor malls and airports. Samsung and Google already have VR systems centered on their smartphones.

The new iPad Pros also feature a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera along with a 7-megapixel front-facing camera.

Apple will bring the traditional file management that keeps all your stored documents together in an organised manner on both your iPhone and iPad. The money can be used to make payments to someone, make purchases in stores, apps and on the web, or transfer it from Apple Pay Cash to their bank account.

"When you finish that first drive we're going to suggest, 'hey how about we activate do not disturb while driving?'", said Apple's senior vice president of software engineering Craig Federighi during the keynote.

iOS 11 itself offers a number of changes, such as an upgraded voice for Siri and better speech translation features. iMessages will soon be synchronised via Apple's iCloud, and will also be receiving epayment support.
