"The player will take a clear and definitive decision in the coming days".

Agent Juanma Lopez fuels speculation that Alvaro Morata could be on his way to Manchester United, but insists that Real Madrid will have the final say on any transfer.

The 24-year-old's representative Juanma Lopez said the Spain global is keen to secure regular first-team football after struggling to dislodge Karim Benzema as Zinedine Zidane's first choice striker in Madrid.

After announcing they had agreed a fee with Benfica for Victor Lindelof on Saturday evening, Manchester United fans are eagerly awaiting news of Alvaro Morata.

The pair are said to be good friends, and the former wants the 27-year-old to return to England and be part of the exciting revolution taking place under Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Gab Marcotti and Steve Nicol believe Alvaro Morata would perfectly fit with Man United after Zlatan Ibrahimovic's departure.

Manchester United have been on the lookout for a quality striker in this transfer window.

Morata was forced to play second-fiddle to Karim Benzema at Real Madrid last season but managed to scored 15 goals in 14 starts and 12 substitute appearances. The Spain global has scored 20 goals in all competitions for Real last season, as the club clinched La Liga and the Champions League.

Morata remembers that Mourinho gave him his chance at Real Madrid and hopes to be able to reunite with him.

The Spaniard looks set to leave the Bernabeu this summer after struggling for game time last season.

Now, the Spanish source claim that the Portuguese boss has directly told the player to join and that he will be important at Old Trafford in the next campaign. No matter his signature is being sought after by most of Europe's big clubs like AC Milan, Chelsea, and Manchester United, with the latter being the front-runners.
