Mayweather famously loves to bet on professional sports and said on Wednesday afternoon that he considers victory over UFC star McGregor to be such a formality that he will put his money where his mouth is.

"However, Mayweather vs. McGregor is attracting a slightly more global crowd, with 14% of sales coming from outside the USA, compared to 12% for Mayweather vs. Pacquiao".

At 40-years-old, he hasn't fought in two years, but is returning to the ring to face off against McGregor.

McGregor even joked about conquering both MMA and boxing, then creating his own hybrid of the two as a new sport.

"Conor McGregor had a hell of a career, he's still got a hell of a career", said Mayweather. "This is a lot more subdued".

Meanwhile, tickets on resale websites StubHub and Ticketbis are available for $1,100, though the former company told CNN that Saturday's bout wasn't proving as popular as Mayweather's fight against Manny Pacquiao in May 2015.

"We are prepared for 12 three-minute rounds of non-stop pace".

So when Mayweather says "In the Octagon, he's undefeated standing up, he can do a lot of this ... and I've been here plenty of times. Trust me on that". "Floyd has a will to win stronger than any man I've ever met".

The superstar fighters won't pull any punches in the insult this is one last shot at encouraging fans to drop some coin on the PPV.

UFC President Dana White said that with McGregor already being a part of USADA's testing pool being an active fighter in the UFC, Mayweather had no issue jumping into the program. "It's going to be blood sweat and tears".

"I'm intrigued. He talks a good game".

When McGregor got to the stage, he vowed to knock Mayweather out.

'After 21 years, I've been hit with everything and I'm still right here.

Conor McGregor emphasized his commitment to, and focus on, training as he attempts to record one of the biggest upsets in combat sports history. "I have adapted perfectly to boxing, I am very pleased and ready". He's going to bring his best. But the American veteran warned he had faced plenty of hard hitters before.

"I'd probably get beaten".

The fighters have opted for a typically-light-for-boxing eight ounce glove set, which is much closer to the four ounce gloves Conor is used to in the UFC.

"I just fear that they do all this trash-talking and they go behind the scenes and they are having a laugh and thinking: I can't believe we are taking all this public for a ride", McIlroy said. So much so, some pay-per-view packages in the United States are being sold for upwards of $100.
