Huge fight in Major League Baseball game between Detroit Tigers and New York Yankees

Fulmer hit Yankees designated hitter Gary Sanchez with a pitch in the fifth inning.

Cabrera and Romine were both ejected.

Cabrera & Austin Romine were ejected and suspensions/fines are sure to follow.

The Yankees then brought in Aroldis Chapman to pitch but right after he finished warming up, Romine and Cabrera started jawing.

Last month, these same teams had a game at Yankee Stadium in which four batters were hit.

Betances was not ejected immediately after hitting McCann in the head, which drew an argument from Ausmus as players again exchanged words.

Jay Bruce and Francisco Lindor homered, Yandy Diaz had four hits, and Cleveland continued its domination of Chris Sale with a victory over Boston.

Meantime, the Yankees received another great outing from All-Star right-hander Luis Severino, who limited the Tigers to a run on six hits over 6 2/3 innings with eight strikeouts and one walk.

Where do we begin? Yankees reliever Tommy Kahnle appeared to retaliate, throwing behind Miguel Cabrera.

Sanchez soon arrived from the Yankees bench and clearly landed a body blow to Detroit's Cabrera and appears to land another later during the brawl, while Romine also landed a few of his own.

In the end seven players or coaches are ejected: Cabrera and Wilson of the Tigers and Betances, Kahnle, Romine, Girardi and Thompson.

Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera threw some haymakers Thursday as his team hosted the New York Yankees, sparking a benches-clearing brawl between the two teams.

Castellanos did talk about the first benches-clearing incident, which led to a brawl in the sixth inning. "He wanted to throw a punch at me when I was pulling him off, but thank God someone grabbed him from behind, because he might have knocked me into the stands". Though, Romine himself wouldn't be deterred.

The law of averages demands that Gary Sanchez will cool off eventually.

One person to tweet his thoughts was former Detroit Red Wing, Aaron Ward, who was responding to a tweet from Detroit News writer, Bob Wojnowski.

Some believe that both Alex Rodriguez and singer/actress Jennifer Lopez played a part in Sanchez's resurrection.

This was a frightening moment for James McCann, who simply had nowhere to go. Betances was ejected only after Ausmus argued.

The Yankees at this point should move on, and focus on the pennant race.

The way NY is hitting the ball I am tempted to go with the over with Detroit also hitting left handers well... Sanchez had hit his fourth home run of the series in his previous at-bat. The umpires should have done a better job in controlling the situation, but it is over and now there is far more important matters to worry about.
