Posted September 21, 2017

Apple is releasing the latest version of its iOS operating system on Tuesday, but if you have an older iPhone or iPad, you may not be able to install the new software. Today we will go over what makes iOS 11 so special and why everey iPad owner should be happy to know that it's coming their way. The feature is already available in most of the Android devices but, yes it is new for Apple users.

Hands down, the most important change that iOS 11 is bringing is the new file system. While we have talked a little bit about what iOS 11 has to offer, we were waiting for the official release of iOS 11 to get into more details. You've downloaded 60GB worth of apps, and only use about half of them.

Open iTunes, you may need to sign into your Apple ID account.

However, it's nowhere to be seen and there's no mention of Messages in iCloud on the iOS 11 feature page.

If users are eager to have the iOS 11 but are unwilling to wait for hours, then they should opt to activate the download at night, while they are sleeping. It also makes multi-tasking, a lot easier, thanks to its new features - Split View and Slide Over. It's created to keep text messages from distracting you when you're behind the wheel.

When you're in the vehicle, you can activate a Do Not Disturb while driving feature that will detect when your iPhone is a auto moving and automatically silences notifications. The iPod Touch (sixth gen) is also supported.

This new version of iOS brings augmented reality into many iOS devices out there in the world.

The Notes app on iOS 11 now supports searchable handwriting feature which allows you to write anything using your fingers or the Apple Pencil in Notes app and will also search the written content. Also, if you ask Siri about a particular subject, the virtual assistant will more or less read to you the description of your query instead of just showing you what it found on the internet.

"These apps deliver high-quality AR experiences using the built-in camera, powerful processors and motion sensors in iOS devices". You can choose to change the auto-replies by going into the Do Not Disturb Settings.
